Since joining the Academy’s faculty in 2018, Jon has worked with public sector and commercial clients as a trainer and assessor, facilitating and supporting learning and development in the field of leadership and management.
Prior to this, Jon spent 25 years in education as a Primary school teacher and headteacher.
From inspiring children Jon then moving on to shared responsibility for the Academy’s recruitment and staff induction, ensuring new members of the team are familiar with the high standards required and supporting people to achieve and then exceed those standards in their daily practice.
Jon is also responsible for the Academy’s HR strategy, ensuring all staff are well supported to fulfil their role to the very best of their ability – and to enjoy it!
Jon believes in pushing people to be better than they think they can be, whilst providing them with the bespoke support they need to genuinely fulfil their potential.
A lover of music and all things guitar! He plays, sings and writes his own songs and he never plays his own songs in public though – it is his great gift to society!
