With over 12 years of experience across the UK and the Middle East, I am a dedicated educator and leader committed to helping people unlock careers they once thought were out of reach. As a Programme Lead and Executive Coach at the Academy, I leverage my deep expertise and experience to empower the next generation of professionals.

Originally from Plymouth, my career has been an adventure, from a two-year stint living and working in Oman, teaching computer science to international students, to my current base in Manchester, where I’ve been involved with multiple training providers. I’ve taught at every level, from secondary schools and Further Education (FE) to high-impact digital skills bootcamps and apprenticeships.

My speciality is bridging the gap between education and employment; I have designed higher education curricula and successfully scaled apprenticeship programmes working with micro-enterprises, SME, and global companies and charities.

In my coaching, I draw on my background in learning and operations to support learners to thrive within their chosen industries. I believe in taking the “less walked path”, a philosophy that extends to my personal life. Whether I’m hiking, climbing (without a harness), swimming, mountain biking, or on the rare occasion, skydiving,

I’m always ready to try an extreme sport or new experience at least once. At home, I balance that adrenaline and challenge with the calming company of my partner and our three cats. I bring this same “give it a go” spirit to my mentoring, and encourage every learner to take the risk, make the jump, and discover their full potential.
