Dean Mansell, Whale Tankers talks about his experience of the Senior Leader Level 7 programme. Dean completed the apprenticeship in July 2025 and received a Distinction grade. He offers a wide range of views on what he got out of the programme, what surprised him most and he provides few pointers for those considering an apprenticeship.

Mike Stapleton-Chambers, Halton Borough Council, shares his experience of the Senior Leader Level 7 apprenticeship. Mike began the programme in October 2024 as part of a group of learners. He decided to switch over to an individual programme in early 2025. He shares his thoughts on the change and what he got out of the programme and what he intends to do next. Mike received a Distinction grade in July 2025.

The School of Leadership and Management – Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is for those who want to coach either as their main occupation or want to use the skills of coaching in their existing role.

Designed for those who work in, or aspire to a middle management role, with responsibility for managing teams to deliver a broad range of outcomes.

The School of Leadership and Management – Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship

For those who work in busy business and functional roles and are responsible for overseeing and managing operational, procedural and administration tasks covering a range of crucial business and finance functions.

The School of Leadership and Management – Level 3 Team Leader or Supervisor Apprenticeship

For those who want to learn how to support, manage and develop team members, manage projects, plan and monitor workloads and resources and build good team relationships.
